TRACK 01

Data Science & Machine Learning

This track explores how advanced analytics and intelligent systems can be applied to sustainability challenges.

Participants may work on AI-driven models for climate risk prediction, renewable energy optimization, carbon footprint reduction, biodiversity and ecosystem monitoring, or predictive insights for sustainable agriculture and water conservation.

TRACK 02

Blockchain & Cybersecurity

This track focuses on building trust, transparency, and equity in sustainability initiatives through blockchain and secure digital systems.

Problem statements may include developing blockchain platforms for supply chain transparency, secure identity solutions for empowering communities, decentralized models for fair trade and sustainable finance, or cybersecurity frameworks that protect critical sustainability infrastructure.

IoT & Robotics

This track highlights the role of connected devices and intelligent robotics in creating sustainable cities, resilient infrastructure, and accessible healthcare.

Participants may explore IoT-enabled smart grids for energy efficiency, robotics for precision agriculture, smart urban solutions for waste management and mobility, assistive technologies for affordable healthcare, or sensor-based systems for monitoring air, water, and soil quality.

The Biosphere Club at VIT Chennai was created with the vision to create awareness among people and make impact by realizing how real the global warming and climate changes are. We encourage active participation and spread hope that small changes do matter.

Under the guidance of Dr. Umayal C(Faculty Coordinator), School of Electrical Engineering, the club focuses on respecting, observing and understanding plants, animals, places and culture while getting knowledge and finding new ways to heal the planet.
